The Playitas Sports Resort has extensive sports and leisure facilities catering for all tastes. It is fast becoming the largest sports and training centre in the Canary Islands. High performance and amateur athletes, as well as those seeking a wide variety of fun and adventure sports, are well catered for.
The catering in the Playitas Grand Resort is of top quality as you’d expect from a quality resort: everything is offered from self-service buffet to ‘a la carte’.
Fuerteventura Swimming Training Camps
The Las Playitas 50m Olympic Pool has 8 lanes and 4 pace clocks on each end and the temperature of the water maintains a constant 25 – 26º throughout the entire year. There is a huge choice of swimming equipment at your disposal: Paddles (various sizes), Swim-Boards, Pull Buoys, Swim Fins, Stretch Cords for power- and sprint training in the water, Water polo-equipment. In addition there are underwater-windows for observation or for video-recording to help improve techniques. Your group can enjoy the swim-orientated well-equipped gym. Here you can also find among other things, a Vasa Trainer and a massage-room for your own use.
The 4 star Playitas Aparthotel with his 114 studios and 96 apartments is on a smooth slope, on the southwest of the bay, far from the bustle and offering direct access to the beach and the sea.
The Aparthotel is ideal for families and offers a wide variety of club and sports activities. The hotel includes the Bahia Grande restaurant and the pool bar. All rooms have air conditioning, Satellite & Pay TV, telephone, kitchenette, Internet access with fee, safe deposit box for rental, bathroom with shower cabin and bathtub, hairdryer. Apartments can sleep a maximum of 5 people.

From the main building at the bottom of the hill, the funicular railway will take guests to their living accommodation. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite & pay TV, telephone, internet access with fees, safe deposit box for rental, fully equipped bathroom with separate shower cabin and bathtub, hairdryer. The restaurant is in the main building offers exquisite buffets.
For our Fuerteventura Swimming Training Camps direct charter flights are available to Puerto del Rosario, including Thomsonfly and Jet2 from many regional airports including Manchester / East Midlands / Cardiff and the main London airports. Easyjet operates a direct seasonal service from London. There are no direct scheduled flights, but indirect flights are available with Iberia.
Airport transfers to the Las Playitas Resort take approximately 45 minutes. Airfares and transfer prices can be confirmed when final travel dates, group size and preferred UK departure airport are known.
