Passport & Visa

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE GROUP ORGANISER IF TRAVELLING WITH CHILDREN

If you are travelling with a child (under 18) and are NOT the child’s parent, or may appear not to be the parent (for example, if you have a different family name), European Immigration Authorities (including travel to the UK) are now operating a policy of asking questions to establish your relationship with the child.

You must make sure you have valid, acceptable passports and any required visas or other documentation for both the final destination and any stop-off points en-route.

You should ensure that any applications for required documentation are made in good time so that they are received well before you depart. Complete passport information for each passenger may be requested in order for us to assist with online check-in for flights and for the issuance of Boarding Passes.

Passports

A full valid passport will be required for travel, and it is sometimes necessary to have an extended period of validity beyond the end of the trip. It is important that the names you supply us on the passenger manifest match the names that appear on the passports. Discrepancies may result in additional charges, and even refusal to travel. Please allow plenty of time for passport application or renewal. At certain times of the year there can be a lengthy wait for passport processing.

Visas

Some countries require an entry visa for the duration of your stay. It is important to note that a visa may be required by a non-UK passport holder that is not required by a UK passport holder. We recommend you check with the relevant embassy or consulate without delay as visa applications can take several weeks to organise.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Travel Advice Unit provides information about visa requirements and also provides contact details for relevant Embassy.
